DODGERS TAKE A CHAPTER FROM NEW BASEBALL NOVEL, CONSIDER HIRING FEMALE GM. WILL THE DODGERS MOVE TO BLOOMINGTON, IND. NEXT?

LOS ANGELES Saturday, 12 November 2005 — Taking a chapter out of the newly released hit baseball novel Trolley Dodgers, the real-life Los Angeles Dodgers are considering Kim Ng for their vacant general manager position.

NG spent the last four Years as Assistant GM in Los Angeles and held the same position with the New York Yankees.

Trolley Dodgers chronicles the efforts of Bloomington, IND., residents as they try to buy the Dodgers and move them to the Midwest. The novel is the first by Indiana native Jeff Stanger. Stanger is currently working on a sequel that will take readers behind the scenes of the College World Series.

“Trolley Dodgers is a story in which readers can’t help but root for the underdog, and it’s that quality that will keep them engaged.” — ForeWord Magazine

Trolley Dodgers, by Jeff Stanger is published by Writers’ Collective, Cranston, RI. It is distributed by Midpoint Trade and Ingram and available at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble, Borders and fine bookstores everywhere.
