WordPress Email Notification Plugin v2.3.2 Alpha
by Brian Groce on October 25, 2006
The WordPress Email Notification Plugin v3.0 is still being developed, but in the meantime there is an issue with v2.3.1 which could allow spammers to use the plugin to send mass e-mails from your server. To address this issue we have created an alpha version of v2.3.2 which we need users to test before we release the beta version and then the final version of 2.3.2.
If you are interested in testing the alpha and beta versions, please contact us and we will e-mail you the new files.

Any news on this?
Yeah, I’m very interested in this plugin – have you got to a beta or (better) final version yet?
Hi,
I would like to test it, since i am not able to run previous versions with a wordpress 2.1.2 installation. Actually my problem is that i have no mailserver so i rely on Shftthis SMTP wordpress plugin….it does not work when entries are being updated….I check it and when i try to send an email to listsubscribers, the server tries to find a mailserver (Linux mail functions is launched)
Best wishes
Marcos

It seems to works, at least new blog users get notified when registering, but somehow automatic notification on entries changes do not work

I use this plugin and love it,
I wish however I could change the setting that would allow me to send out the newsletter EVERY time the post is handled, saved, published, etc.
That would be a great option for my reminder website.
Any tips?
STEVE
are you still developing this?
